The CEO of the Emirates Corporation for Central Cooling Systems (Empower), Ahmed bin Shafar, said that the company intends to implement expansion steps during the coming period, including entering the Sharjah market before the end of this year, by preparing to announce a strategic partnership to provide a government project with cooling services.

Bin Shafar added, in press statements, that the company is also looking to expand in foreign markets in the countries of the region, through acquisitions, which are being discussed during the current period, pointing out that Empower has made great strides in preparing for listings in the stock markets.

He explained that Empower’s production capacity rose from 1.640 million refrigeration tons, at the beginning of this year, to 1.853 million tons in October.

Bin Shafar revealed that the number of Empower customers has increased from 140,000, since the beginning of this year, to 160,000 customers currently, while the number of cooling stations has increased from 84 stations from the beginning of 2021 to 106 stations currently.
