The shares of 37 companies were traded, of which the shares of 15 companies rose, and the shares of 10 companies were stable, while the shares of 12 companies declined.
At the level of sectors, the DFMSI sector index increased by 0.86 percent, the real estate sector index increased by 0.69 percent, the investment and financial services index increased by 2.05 percent, the banking sector index decreased by 0.18 percent, the transportation sector index increased by 1.18%, and the sector index decreased by 0.18 percent. Services increased by 1.83%, the communications index stabilized by 1.06%, the insurance sector index decreased by 0.37%, the communications index grew by 0.16%, the commodity sector index rose by 4.41%, and the industrial sector index was stable.
The share of the Dubai Financial Market was the most heavily traded in terms of value, increasing by 5.64%, at 2.62 dirhams, with a trade value of about 270,824,235.49 dirhams, and with a volume of 103,809,949 shares. The rising shares included the share of Amlak Finance by 9.64%, at 0.750 dirhams, with a value of trades amounting to 65,235,405.73 dirhams, and a volume of 89,224,702 shares. The shares of Emirates Refreshments Company increased by 7.59%, at 6.80 dirhams, with a trade value of about 168,297.60 dirhams, and a volume of 25,298 shares.
While the lower shares included the share of Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance Company by 9.91%, at 5.27 dirhams, with a trade value of about 2,687.70 dirhams, with a volume of 510 shares. And a volume of 95,000 shares, and Al Salam Bank Sudan’s share decreased by 4.07%, at 1.65 dirhams, with a value of trades amounting to about 47,190.00 dirhams, and a volume of 28,600 shares.
