The Brazilian Bar Association, Paraná section (OAB-PR) issued a note of condolence for the death, this Thursday (25th), of lawyer Maurício Kavinski, specialized in the area of technology, innovation and management. After a 20-year career in law, Kavinski became a partner at Preâmbulo, one of the largest and most traditional legaltechs in Brazil, contributing to the improvement of legal software now widely used by law firms.
The lawyer was a member of the OAB Paraná Innovation and Management Committee and collaborator of the sectional Banking Law Commission.
Kavinski passed away at the age of 53, a victim of covid-19, leaving a wife and two children. The rapid evolution of the disease surprised professionals in the field, partners and friends. “We have lost a visionary, an excellent manager and a worthy lawyer, who has always defended a prosperous, egalitarian and free society”, lamented Rhodrigo Deda, president of the OAB Paraná Innovation and Management Commission.
“Kavinski was one of the most brilliant minds I have ever met, a great guy who will be missed in our earthly, irreplaceable plan”, declared the chairman of the Banking Law Commission, Luiz Fernando Dietrich.
