The Ministry has launched many projects, including the Digital Giving Initiative that aims to spread digital awareness and digital literacy by building a volunteer community of trainers and volunteers for the digital knowledge industry, and sharing it with various groups of society through training activities and programs, and the technical thinking initiative that aims to spread Awareness of the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to achieve sustainable development and build a dynamic and effective digital society.
The Kingdom also established the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, out of its belief in the importance of the digital field, while the Authority recently adopted five national data governance policies, including the data classification policy that aims to protect national data and its confidentiality, and the personal data protection policy that regulates the collection, processing and sharing of personal data.
