Egypt’s national handball team have qualified for the quarter-finals following their victory over DR Congo in the African Men’s Handball Championship.

The Pharaohs earned a hard-fought 23-19 victory over DR Congo on Sunday to remain at the top of Group A.

As they beat Guinea 39-22, Kenya 44-19, and most recently, DR Congo, Egypt comfortably secured qualification for the quarter-final after reaching their sixth point.
