Mohamed Farag Amer, president of Smouha Club, launched an attack on the Egyptian arbitration after his team lost to Pyramids.

Smouha bid farewell to the Egypt Cup after losing to Pyramids 3-1 in the round of 16.

Faraj Amer said in statements toFilGoal.com: “The absence of Egyptian referees from the World Cup is normal because of the refereeing mistakes we see. Is it reasonable what we see?”

“The Egyptian football is in a big predicament because of what is happening in terms of arbitration,” he added.

The president of Smouha continued, “Our team gathered only 4 days ago. We are still at the beginning of preparation and we have players who have not played yet. Rest assured of Smouha.”

Pyramids got a penalty kick in the 94th minute, scored by Ramadan Sobhi, to win the team three goals to one. A kick that Smouha players objected to.

Pyramids, the winner between Al-Ahly and Enppi, is expected to face it in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
