According to The Verge, the company originally discontinued the Xbox One X and the digital Xbox One S before launching the Xbox Series X, then quietly stopped making the Xbox One S at the end of 2020. .

“To focus on production of the Xbox Series X/S, we are halting production for all Xbox One consoles by the end of 2020,” Cindy Walker, Senior Director of Xbox Console Product Marketing, was quoted as saying by The Verge.


According to the report, the company appears to be able to meet the demand for the $299 Xbox Series S, and speaking after the launch of the Xbox Series X/S in 2020, Xbox President Phil Spencer told The Verge that the company is building more Xbox Series consoles.
