The Ruler of Ajman, in a humanitarian gesture, undertook the treatment of a Moroccan infant named Nama'a in Rabat.
His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi was briefed that Nama'a was born with large tumour in her head.
On Sheikh Humaid’s directives, she underwent a successful operation at Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Rabat.
The Ajman Ruler also purchased a house for the girl's family.
An emotional Nama'a family thanked Sheikh Humaid the swift response to their call.
Hamad Bin Ghalita Al Ghafli, the private secretary of the Ruler of Ajman, told Gulf Today, “I informed Sheikh Humaid of the condition of the baby, and her need for urgent surgery to remove the malignant tumour, and that her family is poor and does not have the money for the surgery.
The Ruler immediately directed to undertake the treatment. The surgery was performed on her at Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Morocco.
Ghafli said the operation was successful.
Al-Ghafli stressed that “the success of the surgery on the baby was the happiest moment for all of us.”
Her mother profusely thanked the Ruler of Ajman for undertaking her baby's treatment.
